VISION WITH VICTOR

An Interview with victor Roach, President of Western Partitions, Inc.

Interview By Rich Elliott, Friday, May 27, 2011

On Friday, May 27th, I sat down with Victor Roach, President of Western Partitions, Inc. (“WPI”) to ask him some straight forward questions about the construction business in our current economic climate and his vision of the Company's future.

What's your vision for the future of WPI?

My vision is for continued growth. Growth gives opportunity to people within the Company; it also keeps things challenging and exciting for all of us working here. We have many good customers in many places around the country and in some cases around the globe. When we find those good customers we like to do business with, we will try to follow them around.

What kind of future growth do you see WPI concentrating on? Expanded regional markets? Expanded core specialties lines work?

Both. We've continuously expanded into new cities and we have added new specialties to the work we do. We have other specialties that we are looking to add. We believe this is attractive and beneficial to our customers. When we go into any new field of specialty we want to be the best at it. We take our time to learn it properly.

I was told to ask you about the Learjet.

My ultimate goal isn't necessarily to own a Learjet, but it's fun to think about it and dream. I think my personal perspective on business has changed as I've grown older; what years ago was simply how much money or how many toys you could acquire becomes a lot less important than your family. So the question is more of how do we keep it fun and successful? Of course we want to be profitable because we won’t be around if we are not. It's a lot more fun when we are making money and we can share some of that success with everybody. As far as company sales, I've set a goal of $500 million or more before I retire. This will take a lot of work and effort. It will also take a lot of people who are willing to grow and assume larger leadership roles in the future which creates a huge amount of opportunity.
