MEET MIKE
DRIVEN BY A COMMITMENT TO PEOPLE
Mike Roach, the founder of Western Partitions, Inc. (WPI), was the heart of the Company when it was established in 1972, and the
character of the Company he instilled is alive and well today. After Mike and his wife Pam started WPI in the Portland area, word
spread about the Company's high-quality work. WPI quickly grew and now has four regional offices and over 500 employees. A lot has
changed in nearly 40 years, but what has not changed are Mike's family-based values and commitment to hard work.
Mike is known for his positive outlook, reputation as a "half-full cup" kind of guy, and for calling every employee by
name. He instills a sense of fairness in all of his dealings and his experience with union negotiations has solidified his position
as a consensus builder with the WPI Team and union partners.
Above all, Mike is driven by a commitment to people, both within and outside the Company. He counts on his wife Pam, daughter
Angela, and son Victor, to help manage and drive WPI. Angela heads up the management of the administrative staff while Victor heads
up the estimating and operations staff. At the same time, Mike understands and appreciates the fact that WPI's success is based on the efforts of
all its office and field personnel. As Mike looks to the future growth of the Company, he counts his wife, children, four
grandchildren, and rest of the WPI Team as the essential keys to that success.
